Have you got the ‘Summer is Ending!’ blues? Because I totally have. The nights are getting darker earlier, the temperatures are dropping and we’re just weeks away from welcoming a new month that we associate with the beginning of leaves falling off the trees. Where the heck did summer go? It was over so fast!
For us, this summer was a total blur. We didn’t go to any beaches (photo above is from a couple of years back!), eat at any pubs, have any days out, we just worked, worked and worked. You get the picture. Our home renovations have come a huge way, and despite being really inconsistent with blog posts on here recently, I’ve actually got so much to write about. Isn’t that always the way?! Our kitchen is really beginning to take shape and although we haven’t even ordered an actual kitchen yet, it actually feels like the room is starting to become a kitchen again and not just a rectangular add-on to the dining room.
With summer ending, it’s also made me realise how little of the year we actually have left. I still have plenty to achieve from the renovation goals we set out at the start of the year, but another smaller goal of mine for this year was to host more giveaways. Since the year is already slowly coming towards the end, I haven’t done a great job. So I thought now was the best time to start.
